Chinese cars, road-legal in the EU

Homologation is the approval a vehicle needs before a member state will register it. Without it, a car can physically arrive in the EU and still never get plates. That is why our list is organised by homologation status rather than by price or by how many models we can offer.

Completed means the individual approval required for EU registration is already in place for that model, so type certification does not need to be repeated. In certification means the process is still running and no approval exists yet. Our partner's status for each model is shown on its card together with the date it was reported.

Possibly, but we will not promise it on a web page. Whether a model can be certified for the EU is checked by our certification partner case by case, and the answer comes from your manager — not from this list.

EU homologation is what makes registration possible across the Union. The registration procedure itself, road tax and import duties are set by each member state, so the paperwork and the cost differ by country. Tell us where the car will be registered and your manager confirms what applies there.

You contract with ASB ASIA GROUP LIMITED in Hong Kong under an agency agreement, and the payment to China goes through us rather than from you to a stranger. The car is inspected before it ships and you get a video report. The payment schedule is fixed in your contract — your manager walks you through it before you sign anything.

Then the car does not ship. What that means for money already paid is written into your contract before the first payment — ask your manager to take you through that clause, and do not accept a verbal answer from anyone, including us.

Warranty coverage for a car imported outside a brand's official EU distribution differs by brand and by country, and we are not going to state it in general terms. Ask about the specific model before you commit: we would rather tell you there is no manufacturer warranty than promise one we cannot confirm.

It depends on the model, on whether homologation is already completed and on the shipping route. We are not publishing a number that would be wrong for half our clients — your manager gives you a schedule for your case.
